This full-time position offers a 4-day, Monday-Thursday schedule, with occasional overtime available when workloads permit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup & Operation: Perform efficient setup and operation of CNC machines, ensuring all parts meet stringent quality standards.
- Programming: Utilize a range of programming methods, including MDI, G-Code editing, and CAM software to create and optimize machining processes.
- Quality Control: Interpret complex engineering blueprints and apply GD&T knowledge to ensure dimensional accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Process Improvement: identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in machining processes, work holding, and tooling selection to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and production teams as a goal-oriented team player to meet production targets.
Required Skills & Attributes:
- Experience: Proven experience in CNC setup and programming; manual machining experience is a strong asset.
- Initiative: A proactive desire to invest in personal tools and professional growth.
- Mindset: Goal-oriented approach with a commitment to team success and continuous personal/process improvement.
