Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 13:00 - 01:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Compassion Empathy Description: The unit has 30 physical beds and 8 hall beds. There are 77 staff members in the department. Day shift staffing includes a charge nurse, 7 RNs, and additional support staff at various times. Night shift staffing includes a charge nurse and 8 RNs. Patient ratios are 1:4. The unit is equipped with Baxter IV pumps, GE Monitors, Ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont Rapid Infusers, a portable EKG machine, and utilizes an EMR system. Key procedures performed in this unit include NIH assessments, IV/blood draws, moderate sedation, TNK, and cardiac monitoring. Ideal candidates are team players. Candidates must have the required certifications listed above. Staff are expected to work every other weekend.
