Construction Laborer

LaborMax - Gilroy, CA

Job Description

Site Preparation: Clearing debris, removing hazards, digging trenches, backfilling holes, and compacting earth.
Material Handling: Loading, unloading, and transporting building materials around the site.
Equipment Operation: Operating power and hand tools (e.g., jackhammers, saws, drills, and cement mixers).
Temporary Structures: Building and dismantling scaffolding, bracing, and barricades.
Trade Assistance: Helping carpenters, masons, electricians, and other specialized workers complete their tasks
Physical Demands: Requires stamina, strength, and the ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions.
Education: A high school diploma is preferred by some employers, but prior related experience, reliability, and mechanical aptitude are often valued more.
Safety & Compliance: A strict adherence to OSHA Standards and the ability to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory
