Engineering Technician

The Engineering Technician plays a crucial role in supporting our engineering department by assisting with various technical tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of our engineering processes. The Engineering Technician fabricates, maintains, modifies existing composite and aluminum tooling, prototype molds, fixtures, templates, and shop aids with RTM, VARTM, wet layup or other processes; and assists Engineering personnel in the research, design, development and experimental fabrication of new products and processes. Other production work will be delegated as required. Duties Include Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve technical issues Assist with the design and development of engineering projects using AutoCAD and other design software Collect and analyze data to support engineering experiments and tests Create detailed CAD drawings, schematics, and diagrams Collaborate with engineers to develop and maintain technical documentation Troubleshoot and repair equipment or systems as needed Assist with the installation, calibration, and maintenance of equipment Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deadlines are met Skills Required Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software Strong mathematical skills for calculations and measurements Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems Excellent problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail for precise data collection and documentation EOE-race/gender/veteran/disabled/sexual orientation/gender identity #J-18808-Ljbffr
