Senior Tax Associate We are seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join our tax practice. This role is ideal for a tax professional who enjoys technical tax work, collaborative planning, and direct involvement in delivering high-quality service to clients. Key Responsibilities Provide initial tax preparationsupport,includinginformationgathering, workpaper creation, data entry, andfirst-draftreturnpreparation Review returns and selected projects prepared by Tax Associates and interns Assist in training and mentoring junior team members Preparetax projectionsand provideproactive taxplanning recommendations Prepareresponses to IRS and state tax notices and correspondence Collaborate with the advisory team on tax planning matters and client service initiatives Communicate with clients by phone and email and participate in client meetings as needed Conduct tax research and provide support on technical projects and planning matters Qualifications 2-5years of public accounting experience with background intaxation CPAeligibleor JD required;Master’s in taxation preferred Ability to manage multiple client engagementsand projects Proficiency in or ability to adapt quickly to new tax software and research tools (i.e., CCH Axcess Tax, BNA Income Tax Planner, and CCHIntelliConnect) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong research and analytical skills Willingness and desire to be part of a team Compensation Salary range: $85,000 – $105,000 Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, and Disability Insurance for employees are 100% paid for by the company 401(k) Plan + match Our Culture Empirical is truly unique.
