Senior Tax Accountant

Century Group's client is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant. You will play a crucial role in leading the team responsible for the Company's direct tax compliance and planning. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $80,000 to $120,000 per year.
Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the team handling day-to-day direct tax compliance and planning.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting compliance.
- Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies for PDS and applicable related entities.
- Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax operations.
- Minimize tax costs and departmental expenses through strategic planning and process optimization.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on direct tax compliance and planning.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
