Job Summary and Qualifications Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - PRN Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently accepting applications for an Ultrasound Technologist on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. As an Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer, you will perform routine diagnostic sonographic procedures in a careful, compassionate, and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care. If you are dedicated to caring for others, this could be your next opportunity. Your tasks and responsibilities as a Sonographer include but are not limited to: Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures. Obtain high-quality images. Maintain proactive and effective communication with patients and radiologists regarding any findings, patient histories, and test results as appropriate. Qualifications General ultrasound (abdomen, OB/GYN) and/or vascular experience preferred. Allied Health degree (2-year program) or successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP-approved Ultrasound Technology program. Valid ARDMS registry required within six (6) months of hire. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
