We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and hands-on Building Superintendent to manage the daily maintenance and operation of a residential cooperative building.
After 120 day probationary period, the individual that is hired may be will be provided with a 2 bedroom apartment
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain the cleanliness of all common areas, including hallways, stairwells, basement, and exterior grounds.
- Perform preventative maintenance and report building issues to management.
- Manage garbage and recycling according to local regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a building superintendent or maintenance technician preferred.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
