Express Employment Professionals - Brooklyn, NY is seeking an experienced and reliable Handyman to join a property management and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a wide range of repair and maintenance skills, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to completing high-quality work efficiently and safely.

Job Description

As a Handyman, you'll be responsible for performing general maintenance, repairs, and installations in residential and commercial properties. You'll handle a variety of tasks including painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work, ensuring all projects meet safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks as assigned
Handle basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall repairs
Paint interior and exterior surfaces as needed
Troubleshoot maintenance issues and provide repair solutions
Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of supplies
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes

Requirements

Experience - 2+ years of experience in general maintenance or handyman services

Skills - Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry techniques

Tools - Must have own basic tools (preferred)

Physical Ability - Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical labor

Reliability - Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and customer service skills

Commute - Must reside within a reasonable distance (60 minutes or less commute)
