Sr/PrincipalNuclear Medicine Fusion Technologist - [Fulltime] (IK)

Position Summary Client is hiring 2 full‑time Sr/Principal Nuclear Medicine Fusion Technologist positions at the SF Parnassus location. These positions work an 8‑hour schedule with variable hours and rotating weekend shifts. The technologist must be licensed in all scopes of practice as defined by the State of California Radiologic Health branch and performs routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures using radiopharmaceuticals in both inpatient and outpatient environments. Responsibilities Work safely in an acute care setting and interact with anesthesia and other patient‑care departments. Collect, prepare, and analyze biological specimens and prepare data for interpretation. Perform radiation safety and quality control procedures on all nuclear medicine equipment as required by the department. Participate in orientation and training of staff, students, residents, and faculty. Participate in performance‑improvement activities in the department. Demonstrate competency and participate in the lead/coordinator role. Active participation in annual performance‑improvement projects and NM Quality Assurance/Radiation Safety meetings. Instruct and perform advanced procedures independently. Active participation in clinical protocol development, maintenance, improvement, and implementation. Active participation in research protocol development, maintenance, and implementation. Qualifications CTNM: NMTCB or ARRT (N) California state license – CA Department of Public Health, Certified Technologist, Nuclear Medicine Post‑primary certification in ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) or NMTCB (CT) BLS (CPR) certification Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine training program (JRCNMT) Minimum 7 years experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Minimum 3 years experience in CT Flexibility in scheduling, ability to rotate locations and shifts, and provide coverage for weekends and holidays Demonstrate competency and leadership ability within 6 months of hire/promotion Ability to perform all routine clinical PET/CT exams and at least three of the five specialty PET/CT exams independently: PET/CT with Multiphase CT Pediatric Cardiac Neuro Research Teaching competency: instruct newer NM Technologists in routine and specialty exams Mentorship ability: provide guidance, advice, and direction to less experienced Technologists Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: USD $166,413 to $224,961 Full‑time employment Full benefits package Relocation assistance available – possible for ideal candidates Additional Information Sign‑on bonus offered for new hires. #J-18808-Ljbffr
