Maintenance Supervisor

What is this role? The Maintenance Supervisor leads a team of maintenance technicians to ensure all production equipment, utilities, and facility systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. The role is hands‑on and focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and minimizing downtime to support high‑growth manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Consistently achieve maintenance and uptime targets by prioritizing critical tasks and maintaining focus on operational goals. Proactively identify and implement improvements that enhance equipment performance and reduce downtime. Track work and identify opportunities for improvement using internal MES and CMMS systems. Lead by example, holding the team accountable for high standards of work quality, safety, and reliability. Use sound judgment when troubleshooting and allocating resources, balancing short‑term fixes with long‑term preventive solutions. Build strong partnerships with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure seamless operations. Model integrity, consistency, and reliability; create a positive work environment where team members feel supported and empowered. Understand that equipment reliability directly impacts product quality and customer satisfaction, and work to ensure every product meets the highest standards through safe and dependable operations. Qualifications 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, food & beverage, or industrial environment. 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; experience with PLCs and automation systems a plus. Demonstrated experience working with technicians, engineers, department managers, and senior leadership to relay information clearly. Solid understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
