Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find dependable Machine Operators in Griffin, GA. In this hands-on and rewarding role, you will be responsible for operating production equipment used in the manufacturing of high-voltage electrical power connectors and substation components for utility companies across the United States. In a Machine Operator job, you'll be responsible for:

• Operating manufacturing machinery and production equipment to meet daily production goals
• Setting up machines and making basic adjustments to ensure efficient operation
• Loading raw materials into machines and removing finished products
• Monitoring machine performance and identifying equipment issues
• Performing routine quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications
• Completing production reports and maintaining accurate documentation
• Assisting with basic troubleshooting and preventive machine maintenance
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures

What you'll need:

• Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience preferred but not requiredwe're willing to train motivated candidates
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn production equipment
• Ability to read work instructions and production specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: Monday Friday | 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday Thursday | 4:00 PM 2:30 AM

Pay:

• 1st Shift: $14.00/hour
• 2nd Shift: $14.50/hour
