Strategic Services Logistics Coordinator - LTL

The Strategic Services Operations Specialist will have experience or the ability to be trained as an operations expert in: LTL (Less Than Truckload), you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the LTL operations within your territory. This position will assist in the day-to-day operations activity of quoting and routing LTL freight services, customer service, including tracking and tracing all shipments. This position will support the sales team to close new business. This position will report to the Strategic Sales Manager - LTLPosition Description (Essential Duties & Responsibilities):Clear understanding of IEL’s sales process as well as regulations and processes for Less Than Truckload freight.Work with the Strategic Sales Manager to help support the strategic vision of the department.Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.Work with different internal departments to ensure a cohesive and collective working relationship to achieve the end goal of servicing the customer and growing sales.Demonstrate subject matter knowledge of all solutions provided by the Company in all customer and prospective customer interactions.Respond to customer requests in a timely manner.Making check calls on all shipments and updating internal and external systems accurately.Build partnerships with Less Than Truckload carriers, including the negotiations of W&I’s, claims, and support initiatives.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge/Skills/Experience:Basic (Required)2 years of transportation operations experience2+ years of demonstrated customer service experience.Excellent communication, both written and oral.Ability to facilitate training and speak to peers and groups.Excellent customer serviceAbility to deal with ambiguity and pivot plans as needed.Willingness to collaborate as a team and share ideas.PreferredDirect experience with Less Than Truckload operations or salesExperience with LTL, FTL, International or WarehousingWe are committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities in our job application procedures.
