Hospital Manager II

Staten Island Animal Hospital is seeking a CVPM or experienced veterinary hospital manager to join our leadership team in Staten Island, NY. Our hospital has served the community for over 20 years and is eager to welcome a manager with a passion for team development, financial management, and customer service. The role demands strong interpersonal and organizational skills, motivation to develop strategies, and a commitment to promoting a high level of care and growth within the hospital. Responsibilities Recruit, interview, hire, review, discipline, and terminate employees. Establish work schedules and monitor daily hospital flow to ensure smooth operation and consistency. Mediated interpersonal disputes and reinforced a team culture. Positively represent the hospital in the professional community and to the general public. Identify and address issues with veterinary software, applying a strong IT foundation to support improved efficiency. Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to make decisions, delegate responsibility, and achieve results. Strong multitasking ability and adaptability to changing priorities.
