The position focuses on understanding electrical drawings and overseeing contractor work, with occasional on-site verification and minor maintenance support after equipment handover.Core Responsibilities (Must Do)Read and interpret electrical drawings and single-line diagrams (up to 480V)Act as technical contact for electrical contractors and vendorsSupport equipment installation, startup, and acceptanceIdentify electrical issues and coordinate corrective actionsMaintain documentation and update redlinesEnsure work follows electrical safety standards and NEC basicsAdditional ResponsibilitiesAssist with maintenance planning after project handoverPerform basic inspection, testing, or minor adjustments when neededSupport reliability improvements and root cause discussionsCoordinate work with production and EHS teamsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related fieldExperience with industrial electrical systems in a plant or manufacturing environmentAbility to understand electrical schematics and power distribution diagramsBasic troubleshooting logic and communication skillsComfortable working on-site around equipmentNice to HaveElectrician or electrical technician backgroundExperience with MCCs, motors, or VFDsEquipment installation or commissioning exposureElectrical license24/7 manufacturing environment experienceWorking ConditionsOn-site role in a manufacturing environment with occasional off-shift support during equipment startup or issues.The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 –$120,000, plus eligibility for bonus and benefits.
