Travelers Accepted Application Deadline: Open Until Filled POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) for a 13-week travel assignment in Templeton, California . The Clinical Laboratory Scientist will prioritize and perform a wide variety of laboratory tests on biological specimens, evaluate and document results, and maintain compliance with laboratory safety and confidentiality standards. This role requires strong laboratory expertise, EPIC Beaker experience, and the ability to work effectively in a rotating shift environment. REQUIRED SKILLS Primary (Must-Have): Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Allied Health Technologies, or equivalent Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience preferred EPIC Beaker experience required Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and specimen handling Ability to review, analyze, document, and report laboratory findings accurately Understanding of laboratory safety standards and patient confidentiality practices Strong communication and teamwork abilities Ability to supervise and train laboratory assistants, clerks, and trainees as needed Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends Preferred: ASCP or NCA Certification Prior travel healthcare experience Experience working in high-volume hospital laboratory environments ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Perform a broad range of clinical laboratory tests on biological specimens Analyze, review, and accurately document test results Report laboratory findings in compliance with facility protocols Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure adherence to safety procedures Preserve patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines Assist with quality assurance and laboratory maintenance activities Train and supervise trainees, laboratory assistants, and clerical staff as needed Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care Maintain accurate records and comply with facility documentation standards Adhere to assignment schedules and rotating shift requirements SHIFT DETAILS Schedule: Variable Rotating Shifts Shift Start Times: 6:00 AM 7:00 AM 1:00 PM 2:00 PM Weekly Hours: 40 Hours Shifts Per Week: 5 x 8-Hour Shifts Weekend Requirement: Yes Guaranteed Hours: Facility Guidelines Apply On-Call Requirement: None Floating Requirement: Possible per facility needs BENEFITS Medical | Dental | Vision | 401(k) Travel Benefits Package Available Weekly Pay Dedicated Recruiter Support Referral Bonus Opportunities EEOC COMPLIANCE We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status.
