Seeking a Litigation Associate with an active Texas law license to handle personal injury cases, including depositions, pleadings, discovery, negotiations, and courtroom representation. Ideal candidates have strong litigation skills, excellent legal writing abilities, and experience in personal injury law.

We are a personal injury law firm based in Houston, Texas. We are a high-volume litigation law firm that specializes in cases related to auto accidents, commercial cases, slip and falls, and additional personal injury matters. With a commitment to delivering comprehensive legal representation, we are dedicated to achieving justice and compensation for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Taking and Defending Depositions

• Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests with precision and clarity

• Develop case strategies through thorough analysis of facts, applicable laws, and regulations across diverse practice areas

• Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel to reach favorable settlements or resolutions when appropriate

• Coordinate with clients to gather pertinent information and provide clear updates on case progress

• Collaborate with internal teams on legal administrative tasks such as maintaining case files and tracking deadlines

• Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, or hearings as needed

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas

• Experience in personal injury law is preferred
