About this job: Provides basic, routine patient/student care according to District guidelines and under the supervision of, and as authorized by, designated medical personnel. This is a 3 day a week Health Tech Paraprofessional position that will be paired with a 2 day Instructional Paraprofessional position (also posted), for a total of 5 days/week. Candidates must apply for both positions.

Salary range: New hires will be set at $21.787 per hour. The salary range for internal candidates is $21.787 to $26.123 per hour. For detailed compensation information, view the Para Salary Schedule. The salary listed reflects the 20252026 school year. Salaries for the 20262027 school year are typically finalized and released mid-summer, with an effective date of August 1. If any updates or adjustments are made once the new salary schedule is finalized, all impacted individuals will receive the updated salary. What You'll Do: Administers basic first aid treatment for routine injuries and prescribed medication, assists with routine student health screenings, reinforces and tutors students on health, safety and hygiene, maintains a current basic knowledge of health care issues, performs inventory and recommends health care supply purchases, monitors and updates student immunization records, communicates and coordinates with students and parents about routine health issues, and monitors students at the assigned site and reinforce.

May be required to have Colorado Driver's license and proof of insurability to meet mileage reimbursement requirements; successful completion of Health Office Support Training, provided by District: Follows GBEBB-R (Dress Code for Non Teaching Staff) District policy.
