· Anderson & Whitney, P.C. is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead client engagements, mentor team members, and provide strategic tax planning services. This position offers exposure to complex tax work, structured development, and a clear path for advancement for candidates pursuing or who already have their CPA.

Key Responsibilities

· Preparation of more complex business and individual returns.

· Oversee and review federal, state, and local tax returns.

· Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services.

· Research complex tax issues and stay current on tax law changes.

· Lead, coach, and mentor tax professionals.

· Serve as a trusted advisor and primary client contact.

· Manage project timelines, budgets, and billing processes.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

· 5+ years of public accounting tax experience.

· Strong knowledge of individual, partnership, and corporate taxation.

· Excellent leadership and communication skills.

· CPA license or actively pursuing CPA is a plus.
