Lawn and Landscape Field Technician
$20 per hourLawnsplus Landscaping, Inc.
The Lawn and Landscape Field Technician is primarily responsible for performing a variety of work tasks that allow for the timely and efficient completion of our grounds’ maintenance service accounts and will be required to operate a variety of tools and equipment to complete specific job tasks and will report directly to the Grounds Maintenance Foreman and Supervisor. Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Aid in the loading/unloading of trucks and trailers in the AM and PM
- Cut grass, trim edges, clean up refuse, blow trimmings, and perform other lawn care duties as directed by foreman
- At times, move and install soil, mulch and plant material to assist with the construction of landscape related projects
- Conduct daily inspections and maintenance on vehicles, tools, and equipment as directed
- Assist foreman in other work-related duties including construction projects, shop and yard maintenance, vehicle and equipment maintenance as directed
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and uniform at all times
- Comply with all company policies and regulations
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
- Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner
- Participate in snow removal operations when in season
Working Schedule:
This is a seasonal full-time position. Your normal hours of operation, while subject to change, are 8 am to 5:00 pm Monday – Friday, while in season. Extreme weather events and/or growth may require additional after or weekend hours, especially during Winter months.
