Production Manager

A top-tier, employee owned, family first organization is looking for an experienced Production Manager.

The Production Manager will work closely with the Director of Operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervise the timely completion of all projects, create and implement process improvements, and coordinate projects in a manner that maximizes efficiency and profitability.
• Achieves manufacturing results by communicating job expectations to hourly and salary employees. Plans, monitors, and appraises production results.
• They will work with all employees using coaching, counseling, discipline, and mediation skills.
• Needs to be a driver, maintaining workflow by monitoring steps of the process using process monitors; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources reporting on daily results, and making corrections to achieve targets.
• Assigns personnel to accomplish work results; establishes priorities; monitors progress; resolves problems; evaluates employees, and conducts orientation and training of personnel.
• Responsible for the safety of all employees and ensures they know and acknowledge all safety rules, policies, and necessary PPE for each position.
• Accountable for compliance with established quality policies and procedures.
• Responsible for communication on all equipment and machines. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel.

Qualifications include:

• Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Business, or related field.
• Experience in with the hydraulics industry strongly preferred.
• Successful track record of leading teams and executing business initiatives.
• Ability to develop relationships, and foster a team environment.
