Diesel Mechanic

Job Description KAG is now seeking to hire a Technician I-III or Apprentice! \n \n \n Diesel Mechanics are required to safely and accurately perform general property and vehicle maintenance & repair duties in and around the shop operations in a fast-paced environment.\n \n Hours \n \n Monday through Friday from 9am - 5pm \n Salary \n \n $18 - $30/hour \n Guaranteed increases with completion of training programs and verified prior experience \n Benefits \n \n 401K + Match \n Medical \n Dental \n Vision \n Paid holidays and vacations \n $100 annual boot allowance, paid in quarterly installments \n $250 Semi-Annual Tool Allowance after one year of service (up to $500 Annually) \n Extensive onsite paid training \n Growth opportunities \n Pay Range: 18.00-30.00 per_hour, General Benefits: \n \nBenefits include medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, a 401K with company match, life insurance, short and long term disability, accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity insurance\n \n Requirements \n \n Valid Driver's License \n Air Brake Certification (FMSCR 396.25) or 1+ year of verifiable experience and the ability to obtain \n Motor Vehicle Air Conditioning Repair (EPA 609) or the ability to obtain \n Commercial Motor Vehicle Inspector 3 years experience or 1 year experience and ability to obtain \n Diesel Mechanics are required to safely and accurately perform general property and vehicle maintenance & repair duties in and around the shop operations in a fast-paced environment. \n Qualifications \n \n 1 - 5 years of experience in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance/repair \n Preventative maintenance and repair of Class 5 - 8 commercial vehicles and tank trailer inspection \n Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs \n Note: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
