Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Join a traveling Physical Therapist assignment in Willis, TX at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Responsibilities include performing 60-minute evaluations and treatments, developing and modifying individualized treatment plans, documenting care and goals, delegating and directing discipline-specific therapy services, participating in student supervision as assigned, and adhering to clinic and regulatory standards for patient and employee safety.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Texas Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy providing evaluations and plan-of-care development, including 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions.
• Demonstrated competence in documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Ability to follow physician orders and insurance authorization requirements relevant to outpatient care.
• Adherence to professional code of conduct and state practice act. Maintain professional licensure in good standing and complete required continuing education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in outpatient clinic settings with emphasis on functional return to community activities.
• Experience supervising students and supporting education initiatives.
• Familiarity with safe patient handling practices and clinic safety programs.
