Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team.  The CNA will provide hands-on assistance with personal care, mobility, daily activities, and supportive services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) in accordance with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) regulations,

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities for daily living (ADLs) including bathing grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Provide mobility support , including safe transfers and ambulation.
• Perform vital sign monitoring and report changes in condition to supervisors.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship as needed.
• Follow individualized care plans and document care provided.
• Maintain client dignity, safety, and privacy in all aspects of care.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the agency care team.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina CNA certification in good standing.
• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
• Experience in personal care, home care, or facility-based care (preferred, but new CNAs welcome).
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and TB test (per NC state requirements).
• Compassionate, dependable, and strong communication skills.
