Senior Statutory Accountant
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support a growing Statutory Reporting unit, the full-time Senior Statutory Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, assisting with regulatory audits, and leading projects related to reinsurance accounting while working remotely. Key responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Statutory financial statements for regulatory authorities Assist in audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries while adhering to deadlines Lead ad hoc projects supporting Statutory Reporting and Finance needs, including reinsurance accounting Required qualifications Experience in reinsurance accounting from implementation to reporting Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas Hands-on experience with NetSuite (ERP) and Workiva (Wdesk) is a significant plus Demonstrable track record in a complex financial reporting environment Experience in the healthcare and insurance industries is desirable Virtual Vocations Inc
