The focus of this role may be on one or more of the following areas: assisting in identification, measurement and reporting, data policy adoption and compliance, data controls framework performance and issue management process, and regulatory and audit response and action tracking.This role requires someone who is dynamic, flexible, and can easily respond to quickly changing needs. The candidate must have the ability to handle ambiguity and complexity and be able to deliver on multiple responsibilities. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others.Responsibilities: Partner with multiple teams to implement relevant Data Governance policies and/or Data Risk and Control frameworkProvide expertise on Data Governance and/or Data Risk and Controls framework including design, effectiveness, performance monitoring and self-assessment processesOversight and analysis of data-related issues, tracking of ownership and target dates and associated metrics and reportingSupport and coordinate with business lines and global functions on enterprise Data Governance strategy roll out, including new Data risk taxonomy and associated changes to key risk indicators and control frameworkGather and synthesize metrics on existing Data Governance and/or Data Risk and Controls principles, policies, practices and standards, e.g., understanding industry best practicesProduce recommendations for enterprise-wide guiding principles, policies, processes and practicesDetermine requirements for and prioritize development of new enterprise-wide principles, policies, processes and practices as neededDevelop and manage approach for measuring adoption of principles, policies, processes and practicesQualifications:Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred6+ years relevant experience in a Data Governance, Data Management, Process Engineering or related areaAdvanced understanding of Project Management methodologies and toolsRequires basic commercial awarenessAbility to monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes, with the ability to anticipate and balance needs of multiple stakeholdersAbility to communicate effectively to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Data Governance------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Data Governance Foundation------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:New York New York United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$142,320.00 - $213,480.00In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
