AP Specialist

Location: Windsor, CT / Fully Onsite Pay: $25/hour Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Windsor, CT. This is a great opportunity for an AP professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Process a high volume of invoices, averaging 80-90 invoices per day Contact vendors to obtain statements and follow up on outstanding items Review and code invoices accurately within the accounting system Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions Maintain organized records and support the AP function as needed Qualifications Recent and relevant accounts payable experience required Ability to manage a high-volume invoice workload while maintaining accuracy Experience working with ERP systems and the ability to quickly learn new software Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and professionalism when interacting with vendors
