About the Position

Primary Care NP or PA

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm with a 30 minute lunch
Openings: 1
Travel/Lodging: Limited

Position Overview

• Outpatient corporate health and wellness coverage
• Long term locum need with potential to extend
• Primary care and acute episodic care for employees and family members ages 2 and older
• Patient volume typically 2 to 4 patients per hour
• Primary Care experience and at least 1 year as an autonomous provider preferred
• Patient Centered Medical Home experience preferred
• Travel medicine encounters
• Paper charting until Epic access is granted
• Full time MA on site

Clinical Scope

• Minor in office procedures and testing
• COVID testing, strep, influenza, mono, urinalysis, and HCG testing
• Phlebotomy as needed
• Nebulizer treatments and EKG review
• Cerumen removal and eye wash for foreign body
• Pap smears, STD testing, and breast examinations
• Annual physicals and referrals for preventive care
• Minor wound care and splinting for minor injuries
• Vaccinations, allergy shots, and chronic illness management

Required Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• National certification
• DEA required
• CSR if required by state
• Board certified preferred

Credentialing/Onboarding Items (must be provided)

• Credentialing timeframe is approximately 1 week, based on provider completion of labs and submission of documents
• Required credentialing documents as requested by the client team
