Assembly TechnicianDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Assembly Technicians for a leading manufacturing company in Hudson, WI. Read below for more information!Apply now and our AI Recruiter, Valerie, will reach out ASAP to learn more about how you match this role!What You'll Do as a Assembly Technician:Read blueprints and assembly instructions to complete product assembliesMeasure and position components within subassemblies using precise measurementsUse hand tools to drill holes and perform product modificationsAssemble walk-in sections, including components such as wood pieces, locks, cut-outs, ramps, and related partsClean excess foam and foreign materials from completed sections, rails, and palletsApply required information labels, including serial numbers and compliance stickersInspect components for defects and report issues to a supervisorWhat You Need to Bring to the Assembly Technician Role:Previous heavy assembly or manufacturing experience preferredBasic math skills, including working with fractionsAbility to accurately use and interpret a tape measureAbility to read and interpret floor plans, blueprints, and assembly instructionsStrong communication skills and ability to work productively with othersAbility to lift up to 50 pounds semi-frequently with or without reasonable accommodationsWhy You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing SolutionsEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
