Job Description
We are seeking reliable, hardworking, and safety-minded Assemblers for our Manufacturing Facilities in Hugo. As a Production Assembler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring production quotas are met while upholding the highest standards of safety and quality. Your primary tasks will involve framing under a roof, building walls, floors, trusses, stairs, and more. You'll be using basic tools, hand-powered tools, table saws, tape measures, nail guns, and other miscellaneous shop tools. This role involves working in a team environment with 3-4 people, depending on the station building wall panels or trusses.
Responsibilities

• Build walls, floors, trusses, stairs, and other structures in a manufacturing setting.
• Utilize basic tools, hand tools, power tools, table saws, tape measures, and nail guns.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment with 3-4 members.
• Ensure production quotas are met while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Lift materials weighing up to 75 lbs sparingly throughout the shift.
• Participate in safety programs and adhere to established protocols.

Essential Skills

• Experience reading a tape measure down to 1/8\" with the ability to pass a tape measure test.
• 3+ months experience with nail guns and saws.
• Proficiency in working with hand and power tools.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production team environment.
• Capability to work 50 hours per week and lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Framing or construction experience is a plus.
• Blueprint reading experience is advantageous.
• Mechanical aptitude and general labor experience.
• Experience with rough carpentry, trusses, and commercial construction.

Work Environment
You will be working in a clean, spacious, and well-lit temperature-controlled manufacturing shop, pre-fabricating trusses and wall panels for our field construction teams. Safety is a top priority with well-established programs and protocols. Teams consist of 3-4 people per area. The facility comprises multiple buildings depending on the product. Work shifts include a first shift from 5am-3:30pm Monday-Friday with a standard 50-hour workweek and voluntary overtime on Saturdays, and a second shift from 4:30pm-4:30am Monday-Thursday with 48-hour workweeks and voluntary overtime on Fridays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HUGO, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
