responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on mammalian cell culture operations utilizing CHO systems.
• Set up, operate, and monitor bench-scale bioreactors for biologics development.
• Design, execute, and analyze upstream experiments, tracking cell density and metabolites.
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and document data within lab notebooks and technical reports.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with downstream and analytical teams to drive project goals.
• Participate in a monthly weekend rotation to ensure continuous culture monitoring.

 
qualifications:
Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant laboratory experience (biotech industry preferred).
• Proven hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture (CHO cells) and bench-scale bioreactors.
• Demonstrated mastery of strong aseptic technique.
• Proven ability to document work and write clear technical experimental plans.

Preferred:

• Experience with perfusion systems (continuous culture).
• Familiarity with bioreactor control systems (e.g., DeltaV, SCADA) and Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN).
