Nebraska First Staffing is partnering with a great manufacturing client to hire CNC Machinists at all experience levels. We’re excited to introduce candidates to this team and help you explore how the opportunity fits your skills, interests, and career goals.
Whether you’ve just finished your associate degree, bringing a few years of CNC experience, or looking for your next challenge as a seasoned machinist, we want to talk with you!
The Opportunity
This is hands-on work where precision matters and you can see the results of your craftsmanship. You’ll help turn technical drawings into finished parts, solve machining challenges, and contribute to the production team’s success.
Depending on your experience, you may:
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or other machining equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
- Monitor production to maintain quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Change tooling and adjust machine settings within your skill level.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and help keep production moving.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
Bring Your Experience—or Your Strong Start
We encourage applications from:
- Recent graduates with an associate degree in CNC machining, manufacturing technology, or a related field.
- Machinists with 2–3 years of recent CNC experience.
- Experienced CNC professionals with advanced setup, troubleshooting, or programming skills.
We’re looking for mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, dependability, and pride in doing the job well. Blueprint reading and familiarity with precision measuring tools are valuable. CNC programming and G-code experience are a plus.
