Automotive Parts Counterperson Shottenkirk Chevrolet KIA of Quincy is looking for a customer-focused, organized, and motivated Automotive Parts Counterperson to join our growing team in Quincy, Illinois. Pay $15.00 - $18.00 per hour, based on experience Full-time position Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and holidays Paid training Employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and service Opportunities for advancement within the Shottenkirk Automotive Group Stable, full-time employment Supportive and team-oriented work environment Responsibilities Assist retail and wholesale customers with automotive parts purchases Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and via email Accurately identify and look up parts using manufacturer catalogs and dealership software Process parts orders, invoices, returns, and special orders Supply technicians with the correct parts in a timely manner Maintain accurate inventory and help stock incoming shipments Organize and keep the parts department clean and orderly Communicate order status and estimated arrival times with customers Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts Work closely with the service department to ensure efficient repairs Follow dealership policies and manufacturer guidelines Qualifications Previous automotive parts experience is preferred but not required Knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle systems is a plus Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership software Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with a positive attitude Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Why Join Shottenkirk Chevrolet KIA of Quincy?
