Manager of Shift Production - New Oxford, PA
Sartorius Corporation
Sartorius seeks a Manager of Shift Production to lead a production team in New Oxford, PA, overseeing daily manufacturing operations, staff development, and continuous improvement while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate personnel, equipment, and materials to execute daily production plans efficiently
- Coach and provide feedback to production staff, implementing corrective actions as needed
- Monitor production schedules and performance metrics to ensure timely target fulfillment
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime and maximize productivity
- Foster culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Apprenticeship or technical qualification in relevant manufacturing environment
- Proven experience in similar production management role
- Effective leadership and team coaching skills
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to remain composed under pressure
