Position Overview

You will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to execute diagnostic examinations, work collaboratively with a network of supportive clinicians, and offer vital reassurance to patients through precise and timely imaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures while clearly explaining processes with warmth and understanding
• Engage closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Utilize, manage, and maintain imaging equipment, flagging any equipment issues as necessary
• Document procedures accurately and maintain detailed patient records in the electronic medical records system
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in ultrasound techniques and protocols

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferable

Certifications Needed

• Current certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferable
