Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to be a vital part of our imaging team, devoted to delivering outstanding patient care. Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you will conduct diagnostic examinations, collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, and offer utmost comfort and clarity to patients seeking reassurance through precise imaging.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound tests, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, clearly and compassionately explaining each process
• Work closely with radiologists and referring doctors to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment appropriately, reporting any issues swiftly
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in our electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Required

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Adept at working both independently and in team settings
