IT Developer

The eleventy marketing group is seeking to hire a talented IT Developer to join our development team. This position is an entry level opening and the job is full time. We serve a variety of clients, big and small, from non-profits to businesses. Responsibilities The goal of the developer in the Marketing Intelligence Group is to facilitate the collection, normalization, and delivery of data to the statistical/modeling arm of the group. Retrieve data from the source that is provided to you by the client or members of the group and bring it in house where it can be manipulated or simply made available to other team members. This includes using ETL tools and processes, using FTP Sites, emailing attachments, and any other ad-hoc data transfer protocols. Transform data so it can be consumed by the end users internally and/or externally. There are specific formats and rules that must be adhered to so that the data can be used in the most efficient manner possible. Many of your instructions will be ad-hoc as the modeling process is an ever evolving one as new technologies and methodologies are discovered. Once data is cleaned and transformed, it must be delivered to the end users. Typically, this means simply putting the data where it can be accessed. Conversely, once the data has been manipulated, the data must then be delivered where a client can access it and in a format specified. Analyzing data to confirm it is accurate. Writing code to streamline all data processes. Researching new data handling methods and possible data sources.
