The General Manager is responsible for implementing and adhering to all Company policies and procedures. You are responsible for maintaining customer relationships, driving customer compliance, resource management, and other key metrics. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.In addition, you will:Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the overall construction and project management departmentDevelop processes and procedures to facilitate the successful completion of projects from start to finishDirectly oversee Construction Supervisors, Managers, and Project Managers, programs to ensure projects are constructed as designed on budget, while constructing safely, with quality, and on scheduleAssist in disputes on all projects, negotiating as required to resolve construction problemsWork with the OFS support team and back-office staff to ensure compliance with both internal and external reporting deadlines and financial reporting requirementsPrepare weekly revenue and cost reportsManage material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracyPrioritization of projects based on customer needs, escalations, identifying resource needs, and assignmentsEvaluation of employee performance, job assignment, employee retention, employee career path, and development of your team’s skill set, and knowledge of the telecom industryInterface with customers, vendors, subcontractors, while identifying additional opportunities for market growth and sustainabilityDriving a safety culture, SSO compliance, MVI, TRIR, and DART metricsQualificationsAbout You:*MUST HAVE - FTTH/OSP construction project experienceYou track new and completed work with a high level of qualityYou have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your workSafety is a part of your dayYou have at least 5 years of progressively challenging leadership experience, preferably in a telecom construction environmentYou embrace the challenge of coaching and mentoring your team and driving change when neededYou have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn custom softwareYou understand basic accounting principlesCompensation of $120,000-$140,000 annually, depending on the experience.Hard work pays off.
