Job Description:

The Admissions Advisor ? New York City Recruitment and Dream.US Coordinator is responsible for recruiting prospective students throughout the five boroughs of New York City while serving as the University's primary admissions liaison for the Dream.US Scholarship Program. This position plays a critical role in supporting the University's enrollment, access, diversity, and student success goals through proactive recruitment, relationship-building, student advising, and scholarship support.

The Admissions Advisor represents the University at recruitment events, high schools, community organizations, and college access programs throughout New York City. The position provides individualized guidance to prospective students and families throughout the admissions process and serves as the primary resource for Dream.US applicants from inquiry through enrollment.



Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience in admissions, recruitment, student services, counseling, education, community outreach, or a related field.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout New York City and surrounding areas.
• Valid NYS driver's license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database/CRM systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Higher Education, Counseling, Student Affairs, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience working in college admissions or enrollment management.
• Experience working with underserved, first-generation, immigrant, or historically underrepresented student populations.
• Experience utilizing Slate CRM.
• Familiarity with the Dream.US Scholarship Program or similar college access initiatives.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of New York City public and private school systems.
