Shipping and Receiving Assistant

Key Experience Required
- 1–5 years of relevant experience in transportation, logistics, shipping, or customer service.
- Strong shipping and transportation experience is required.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Experience handling:
- Shipment issues and ETA updates
- Truckload information
- Carrier communication
- Late pickups, delivery risks, and appointment issues
- Experience maintaining transportation tracking dashboards and alert systems .
- Experience managing email distribution lists and communicating updates to stakeholders.
- Experience with ERP, SAP, and/or TMS systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Contact carriers regarding late pickups, delivery risks, and appointment issues.
- Provide customer service support related to shipment issues and ETAs.
- Track shipments and maintain transportation dashboards.
- Monitor truckload and carrier information.
- Communicate shipment updates through appropriate email distribution lists.
- Work with internal teams and carriers to resolve transportation issues.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Shift options:
- 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM , or
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Work Arrangement
- Virtual interview
- Training will be provided onsite for 2–4 weeks.
- After training: 3 days onsite + 2 days remote .
Contract
- 3-month contract
