Direct Care Worker

Position Overview Provides consumer care services which entail personal care, light housekeeping or companion services to the consumer's home environment including assistance with the activities of daily living, maintaining a clean and safe environment, meal preparation and laundry, sitter and other related duties and assignments. Primary Responsibilities: Performs or assists consumer with activities of daily living as prescribed in the plan of care, including but not limited to: hygiene assistance, bathing, grooming, dressing. Treats each person as an individual with respect and dignity. Respects the rights of all consumers including their right to confidentiality andautonomy. Maintains the home in the optimum state of cleanliness and safetyincluding but not limited to:light housekeeping (vacuuming, laundry, dusting, washing floors, making beds, doingdishes, etc). REQUIREMENTS: 6 months up to 1 year of caregiving experience required Hoyer Lift and Bedbound experience (REQUIRED) Home Health Aide training, Adult Residential License, Direct Care worker certification (Preferred) Clear background check ID/DL (Driving is not mandatory) Social Security(Mandatory) PPDs, TB, or Chest X-ray Our mission at All American Home Care is to provide quality care to people at all stages of life who need assistance and prefer the comfort and familiarity that their own home offers.
