Research Marketing Lead

Shape how AI research, benchmarks, and technical work reach and influence the people building the field. This role partners closely with researchers to turn rigorous technical work into high-impact launches that drive attention, adoption, and citations across the AI ecosystem. Role Overview As a Research Marketing Lead on the core team, you will own the positioning, launch, and adoption of research, benchmarks, evaluations, and other technical work. You will develop compelling, technically credible narratives and go-to-market strategies for researchers, developers, AI labs, and other technical audiences. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end go-to-market strategy, launch planning, and distribution for research, benchmarks, evaluations, and technical releases. Set the publication-readiness standard for research and benchmark releases, working with researchers to ensure methodologies, claims, results, and supporting materials are rigorous, clear, and defensible. Translate complex technical findings into differentiated positioning and narratives without compromising accuracy or depth. Identify high-impact research opportunities through awareness of emerging AI trends, open questions, competitive research, and practitioner needs. Develop research packaging and distribution assets, including research pages, benchmark releases, technical content, and launch materials that increase discovery and use. Build relationships with researchers, AI labs, developers, technical communities, and influential practitioners. Drive adoption by identifying the audiences, communities, and channels most likely to use, reference, and build on the work. Measure impact through adoption, citations, engagement, usage, and qualitative feedback. Create feedback loops that bring ecosystem insights to the research team and inform future research, benchmark, and evaluation priorities. Qualifications Experience marketing, launching, or driving adoption of technical research, AI/ML products, developer products, benchmarks, evaluations, or similarly complex technical work. A strong record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies for technical audiences. Ability to understand technical work in depth and convert it into clear, credible, differentiated positioning and narratives. Strong knowledge of the AI/ML research ecosystem, including major labs, research trends, benchmarks, evaluations, and technical communities. Exceptional written communication skills for both highly technical and broader audiences. Strong analytical judgment when assessing whether technical claims, evidence, and research materials are ready for external publication. Experience building relationships with researchers, technical leaders, developers, or AI communities. Work Terms Full-time, remote role on the core team.
