Table Games Manager

he Table Games Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and integrity of Table Games Operations, ensuring all gaming activities are conducted in compliance with applicable gaming laws, tribal regulations, internal controls, and company policies. This role oversees daily operations, employee staffing and scheduling, training and development, performance management, customer service, and operational excellence. The manager is responsible for maintaining game protection and loss prevention standards, monitoring game pace and player activity, ensuring bankroll accuracy, maintaining required gaming records and logs, and enforcing all table game rules and procedures. The position works closely with the Director of Gaming Operations and collaborates with Cage, Surveillance, and Security departments to protect casino assets, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver a superior gaming experience. Additional responsibilities include evaluating operational performance, implementing service improvements, monitoring market trends and competitors, forecasting financial needs, managing departmental budgets, preparing reports and presentations, conducting training, and maintaining the highest standards of guest service through personalized interactions and relationship building.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive knowledge of table games, pit operations, gaming regulations, customer service, and financial management. Responsibilities include hiring, training, coaching, evaluating, disciplining, scheduling, and developing employees while fostering a collaborative, positive team environment aligned with Laguna Development Corporation's core values. Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills, along with the ability to perform complex arithmetic calculations and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced casino environment. A bachelor's degree is required, though equivalent industry experience may substitute when appropriate, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience. The position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, casino and pit tracking systems, Kronos, and Paramount software. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Laguna Gaming License, Title 31 Certification, and a valid New Mexico driver's license, pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, and be available to work weekends, holidays, and non-traditional hours. The role also involves frequent standing and walking, occasional lifting of up to 50+ pounds, and working indoors with exposure to loud noise, confined spaces, and cigarette smoke.
