Warehouse Receiving Clerk

Distribution Center located in Hebron, Ky. Job Purpose: To fulfill the daily task of ensuring all inbound freight is unloaded, properly inspected, verified, cataloged, and put away while helping to maintain a clean, safe and harmonious work environment. Key Responsibilities: Review packing slip(s) from inbound shipments, verifying that the parts and quantities received are correct according to the packing list. Physically opening cartons verifying the product, while inspecting for concealed damages Accessing the Purchase Order information via a \"hand-held\" computer/scanning devise (data collector), in an effort to verify the goods received are exactly as ordered. Using the data collector to \"receive\" the goods into WMS Receiving employees may be required to temporarily backfill in other areas Job Requirements: Each \"Receiving Clerk\" will be required to: Work standing on their feet for 8 hours every day or more Have the ability to lift no less than 60 pounds. Have the ability to read, identify, and comprehend alphanumeric part number schemes up to 30 characters long. Have the ability to clearly communicate. Possesses basic computer skills.
