Front End ManagerCompany: Jetro / Restaurant Depot Location: 1062 Sweitzer Ave, Akron, OH 44301 Job Type: Full-time Sector: Management Compensation: $19.59 - $20.25Job SummaryThe Front-End Manager is responsible for overseeing all front-end operations, including cash handling, customer service, and team performance. This role ensures accurate transaction processing, adherence to company standards, and efficient execution of front-end procedures to support overall store operations and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily front-end operations to ensure accurate and efficient transaction processingEnsure proper cash handling procedures are followed, including register reconciliation and control processesMonitor front-end activity to identify and resolve discrepancies, errors, or operational issuesSupervise and manage front-end staff to ensure adherence to company policies and performance expectationsEnsure high levels of customer service are maintained at all timesReview trends related to shrink, cash variances, and operational inconsistencies to address areas of concernCoordinate front-end processes including scheduling, workflow execution, and coverageSupport implementation and enforcement of front-end procedures and internal controlsMaintain a clean, organized, and compliant front-end environmentQualificationsPrevious experience in front-end, retail, or customer service operationsStrong understanding of cash handling procedures and transaction accuracyExperience leading or managing a team in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities effectivelyBasic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar toolsPreferred QualificationsExperience managing front-end or cash room operationsFamiliarity with audit standards and operational controlsBackground in high-volume retail or wholesale environmentsWork Environment / ExpectationsPrimarily retail or front-end operational environment. Requires standing, walking, and interacting with customers and staff.
