Setting: Juvenile Rehabilitation Based Program

Population: Youth ages 17-24

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Licensed Social Worker to support a structured juvenile rehabilitation program in Chehalis, WA. This is a 13 - week full-time temporary assignment , ideal for social work professionals experienced in working with justice-involved youth within a secure or highly structured environment .


This role is designed for individuals who bring a strong foundation in care coordination, case management, and rehabilitation-focused planning , with the ability to balance administrative responsibilities and direct client support . The selected candidate will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to promote positive behavioral outcomes, stabilization, and successful reintegration .

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate client needs and inform care planning.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized rehabilitation and service plans .
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective, coordinated care delivery.
• Provide professional support, advocacy, and crisis intervention within a structured setting.
• Assist clients in accessing education, employment, housing, and behavioral health resources .
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation .
• Support program operations through case coordination and administrative responsibilities .
• Monitor client progress and modify plans to support rehabilitation goals and reintegration outcomes .
• Maintain professional conduct and contribute positively to a structured, client-focused environment .

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution required.
• Current Washington State license of one of the following LICSW, LMHC, LSWAIC,LMFTA, required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of social work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of professional social work standards, ethics, and practices.
• Current CPR certification, if applicable.
• Completion of required health screenings (TB test, physical, or equivalent).
• Ability to meet all federal, state, and facility background clearance requirements .
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in juvenile justice, corrections, behavioral health, or residential treatment settings .
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care, DBT Skills, and rehabilitation models .
• Strong background in case management, care planning, and reentry support .
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and time management skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to demonstrate professional judgment, resilience, and adaptability in structured environments.
