Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess the required skills and certifications to effectively manage patients in an emergency setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the emergency department.
• Manage dysrhythmias and multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
• Administer medications and blood products as needed.
• Perform phlebotomy and start IVs for patient care.
• Monitor patients and assist in procedural sedation administration.
• Ensure patient safety and isolation precautions are followed.
• Float to other departments as necessary based on census.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an ER RN.
• Mandatory competencies in phlebotomy and IV placements.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.
• Must have a valid New York RN license in hand to submit.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
