Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with total joint replacement and endoscopy experience for a hospital operating room position.

Details

• Hospital operating room setting within a full-service medical center offering a wide range of surgical specialties
• 12-hour day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Must be willing to float to another campus location (approximately 21 miles) as needed, including to Endoscopy
• Will be utilized in Endoscopy a few times per week

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of current CST experience required
• Precepting experience required
• Total joint replacement experience required
• Endoscopy experience required
• NBSTSA certification required (equivalent certifications such as NCCT not accepted)
• Active BLS certification (AHA) required
• License required if applicable
• Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
• Must have personal vehicle for transportation due to limited public transit in the area

Additional Information

• Provide surgical technologist support across a variety of surgical specialties including orthopaedics and endoscopy
• Work within a teaching hospital environment recognized for patient safety excellence
• Facility does not consider candidates who reside within 50 miles of the location

• All scheduling and RTO requests must be submitted at time of profile submission; requests made after offer will not be accepted
• No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted for this assignment
• Shift accommodation requests, including block scheduling, will not be considered for this position
