Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA)

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) to join our team. This position requires a dedicated professional who can provide high-quality surgical care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during procedures by providing the necessary support and expertise in the Operating Room.
Float to the main Operating Room as needed.
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Prepare and maintain the surgical environment, including sterilization and instrument management.
Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience as an RNFA.
Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification is required.
Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Active Massachusetts state nursing license or a conditional license.

Schedule

This position offers a shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with additional on-call responsibilities as needed. The role may require flexibility to float to various areas within the organization.
