Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)- Pediatric

Position: Pediatric Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner (FT & Per Diem Available)

Location: Jackson, New Jersey

A leading beloved local Children's Health Clinic in is currently seeking a Pediatric Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team. Our client's practice is known for its care and concern for their community, being a part of the team will allow you to make a strong difference in the wellbeing and development of local children.

As a Pediatric PA or NP, you will provide quality, compassionate care to pediatric patients in a variety of settings. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, as well as educate patients and their families on preventive care and management of chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

  • Current PA or NP license in NJ
  • Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Experience in a pediatric setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
